Leg 1:
Start by going down the quiet lane in front of you

Leg 2:  Leg distance 1.2 mile(s)   Start of leg GR: SN656605
Follow the lane down past the houses , past a footbridge and on to the path adjacent to the river. Go straight on to the railway bridge keeping a look out for interesting birds as you walk. At this point you can either return directly to the start as described in leg 4 or you may follow the next leg, going under the bridge.

If you are confident about it and have checked the tide table you can walk the 15 yards or so of sticky mud on either side of the bridge to get on to the estuary marsh area which is a National Nature Reserve.

Return from the railway bridge area reversing the route you took to get there, back to your starting point.
